Marcaria inflates late renewal fees to obtain economic benefit from customers.

109 to 200 in months. shame!

Scammy company that can double your domain renewal fee without any information given to you and then claim that it is "your responsibility to inform you of the prices" which of course are not available on the homepage since only first year prices are listed there.

They are not bad. But i just cannot reccomend them. I did not had a bad experince with them, but i felt like i barelly escaped the frustration. Maybe i am just lucky, but the experience there seems odd, the website is old, it still amazes you it still works. Support is not bad, but is slow and you have to be a bit pushy to obtain what you really want. Not trying them again, still grateful i obtain a refund on my original payment method. Many domains appear available but are not.

Marcaria.com is not clear on pricing: Renewal Cost is very high and not published on their website. For example, their website specifies the cost of $22.00 for acquisition of .hk domain name. Nowhere else on their website is mention any other renewal cost, so you would expect the renewal to be $22.00 also. Yet the renewal cost is $39.00 for my .hk (they advertised $22 the first year) !!!! It would be fine if it was indicated somewhere so you can make your decision accordingly, but there is no indication of that extra cost anywhere on the website: You get hit at renewal time. 2 conclusions: 1) When you make your decision, do not make the assumption that renewal cost = Year 1 cost

2) Expect your renewal cost to triple, Take that into consideration when you chose your provider 1 star because they are not clear and not transparent on their renewal pricing

I can confirm Marcaria bad price politic how it is mentioned by the other commentators here.

First year is being stated on their website when you register.

However, the renewal prices are not shown anywhere on their website and they get higher each year. Furthermore, same top level domains have different renewal prices in the same year.

Example:

I registered one CN domain in 2020 for 23Euro, 2nd year renewal price 39Euro and the 3rd year renewal price is 45Euro.

I have registered 3 other cn Domains with Marcaria. In the first year in 2019 the price for each CN domain was 23Euro. The renewal price was 37Euro for CN domain one

38Euro for CN domain two

39 Euro for CN domain three

After being with Marcaria for 3 years now and having registered more than 20 domains with them I will delete my account and move to another ISP. I hate hidden costs and no transparency. As others have mentioned above, there is no clear list on how much the renewals will cost. Bye bye Marcaria.com this statement here won't be my last, I will put it on my priority to inform other potential customers about your scam renewal price politics.

Future customers, please don't get blinded by the relatively cheap price in the first year. You will pay up to it in the long run. Get out as soon as possible or better don't get into this Marcaria trap.

Terrible performance. Registered a domain. Normally global DNS propagation takes a few minutes. I am half a day into it with them and regarding to several DNS propagation checkers, there are exactly ZERO DNS servers GLOBALLY that are aware of any changes. It is utterly pathetic.

They don't have domain privacy, but you can configure the WHOIS entry yourself. Their offered services are not that attractive, but who uses those anyway.

I've been a client of Marcaria.com for over 10 years, I have over 50 domains with them and everything has been perfect in all these years.

I’ve used them many times for difficult to get TLDs, their support is superb. They are very knowledgeable about the TLDs they manage, they have saved me a lot of time.

Personally, I'm using Marcaria and everything is OK, it's good for international domains, they answer very fast.
